Engine Room Café and Catering at the Thomas Shop
The Engine Room Café, (so called because it once housed a steam engine that powered the industrial Laundry for the new town of Llandrindod Wells, between 1905 and 1917), opened in August '03. It has been refurbished to create a cosy and special atmosphere where we specialise in light refreshments for people visiting the Shop and Galleries, and catering for groups. In good weather teas are served by the river or in one of our distinctive living-willow pods.
Drinks
Ferarri speciality coffee, tea, and chocolate is of the highest quality. We also have a range of herbal teas, ginger beer, fruit juice and squash.
Light refreshments include:
Homemade Scones (sweet and savoury), Bara Brith, a range of Cakes, homemade soup with crusty bread, and sandwiches made to order..
Meals
Three course meals can be ordered in advance for groups of 4 -30 people. For a menu
